The purpose of FAD:

• Protection of your legal rights as citizens of Florida.
• Assurance of accessibility to all programs and services in Florida.
• Advocacy of improvement of all programs and services for the deaf and hard of hearing people in Florida.
• Legal action in the State Legislature for the educational, economical, social and legal status of deaf and hard of hearing Floridians.

We are accepting nominations for our Board of Directors, to be elected at our next Biennial Statewide Conference on October 28, 2023 . Board members must be motivated people with a passion for furthering the purposes of FAD. Board members meet monthly unless it is rescheduled by the Board. Board members are elected for a two-year term.

Please use this form to nominate an individual to the board. Any member
may submit a nomination. Self-nomination is welcome. All nominations will be reviewed by a Nominating Committee.

Individuals will be contacted by the Committee for an interview if needed. If the member meets the qualifications for Board rep.
