Florida Association of the Deaf to host “Refocus & Recharge” Biennial Conference

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – The Florida Association of the Deaf, Inc. (FAD) is set to host its much-anticipated biennial conference, “Refocus & Recharge”. The event is scheduled to take place on October 28th, 2023, in the historic and scenic city of St. Augustine.
FAD is a leading organization that provides resources, support, and advocacy for the Deaf community in Florida. Its mission is to empower the Deaf community through education, communication, and advocacy to promote social equality and preserve Deaf culture and American Sign Language.
The upcoming 2023 event will feature a range of activities aimed at fostering community, promoting networking, and sharing vital information. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Board Voting, attend insightful Presentations, and visit informative Booths.
Board Voting will provide members with a unique chance to influence the future direction of FAD. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes for board positions, directly participating in the decision-making process that shapes the organization’s actions and initiatives.
During the Presentation and Seminar sessions, attendees will have the chance to learn about various topics that impact the Deaf community.
